Oh my, lookie there, I didn't upload for well over a month-and-a-half. This is starting to sound like my diary.
Anyways, not being at school has been just about the best thing ever. Had the relatives come over, ate lots of food off the fancy dishes, got lots of presents, (my new laptop is coming next week! Yaaay!) and played lots of mind-numbing videogames.
Thus I present my picture, inspired by the videogame I got for Christmas: Sonic Unleahsed. The game has just about the most bizarre plot ever, but it was really fun to play. The picture was mostly an exercise to keep my PS muscles operable, and it barely did that. I feel rusty. Anyways, it was a good learning experience and I got to use the radial blur for the first time.
Enjoy.

Stressed Out? Yes.
I'm feeling pretty uptight right now. Got a lot of stuff I should be doing, (like compiling a portfolio for my Fine Arts Academy application. Tedious. DX) But don't you know it, I never update this blog unless there is something else I should /really/ be doing. Bah.
I scribbled this piece up rather quickly. It was almost completed within an hour. Then I spent a day looking at it before adding a couple of final touches. I like it a lot actually, but I really need to look into getting some real pencils. Need to branch out from just using .5 mechanical, oy. It's great for lineart, but this sort of picture needs a little something more. I'll work on that.
This was actually pretty random. It just popped into my head and wouldn't leave me alone, so I let it out. I might make more stuff like this, it was a lot of fun. Got my fingers pretty dang dirty though.
I'll try to update a little more regularly, sorry.

It was a lovely birthday. I got a new bike, some lovely jewelry, some really cute Keds and a stuffed Spyro that looks like a little troll. (Love 'im.)
Now I need to get my hands on the new game and hope it isn't horrid. :D

The Smilodon King
This piece was done for an art contest in one of the galleries I hang about. The subject was Global Warming and the effect it might have on the events of TLK and such. I have heard rumours of an ice age being the result of GW, so I decided to make Simba and Nala Smilodons and threw in some mammoths for the IJCWTBK number. The mammoths irk me, I feel that if I had just taken the time to line them by hand I might have been able to color them better. Still, I rather like the background and Simba and Nala came out satisfying....ly.
School is not a very jolly good time. Still, things are looking better than they did Sophomore year....not that that is saying much....

Thar Be Dragons
Well. I'm back from the Mediterranean at last. Because I like to have a sort of theme in my uploads, I have decided to round up my most recent dragon sketches that are currently WIPs. Hopefully they'll get completed, but that's unlikely.
This was originally going to be a random one-shot character but my sister convinced me to flesh her out a bit and actually...make an effort with her background or something. So I have decided that she is an evil queen, and it seems she has abducted an egg or summat. Poor egg.
This is Balor. Or at least that is what I'm going to call him for now. Yes, he has a pet bat. He has a kindly disposition, even though he spends much of his time studying the dark arts. He uses this knowledge for good and treads the line carefully, making sure he doesn't get so deep into his work that it corrupts him. Yay.
...Perhaps I should look into getting an EpiPen.

See Y'all Later
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Sing a song of sorrow and grieving
Carried away by a moonlight shadow."
