See Y'all Later

"The trees that whisper in the evening
Carried away by a moonlight shadow
Sing a song of sorrow and grieving
Carried away by a moonlight shadow."
Yar, this DDR song broke me out of one heck of an art block. I made this picture in an online sketcher, quite fun quite fun.
I'm leaving for the Mediterranean tomorrow, so this will be my last update for at least nine days unfortunately. Hopefully there will be lots of artwork upon my return though. I can't imagine this trip being better than the one I took at the end of last summer, but here's hoping.
I'm so sad school is looming on the horizon. ;_; Tragic.

Picture for Kassy

This is another test really. >_>;

Ok, links are now up and operating fairly well. It seems I can only get the pictures to be clickable if they happen to be above all of the text. This will be annoying when I'm posting more than one, but at this point I'll take what I can get. Maybe I'll learn more later, but right now I'm all out of patience.
This is a piece I made for Kassy of the FAA for her birthday. It was horribly late, but I got it done. I experimented with my still-new coloring style and the Gaussian blur in this piece, and I think it turned out well over all. Hopefully my backgrounds will continue to improve. This was two weeks of sporadic work during a crippling art block.

Colorful Mermaids and an Art Trade

Yes indeed, I've got more art to show for myself.
I've always liked mermaids, but I find myself drawing them with more dolphin-like tails than fish. So, here are some....dolphin-maids. Colorful dolphin-maids.

I like how the pink one came out...

The second picture is one I completed a day or two ago for an art trade with a very talented online artist. There are two parts to the trade, and this is what I made her in exchange for a lovely character design, (link below the picture. His name is still a WIP.) The species depicted is one that she made up, called "Imperial Lionesses," which is also the species of the character she made for me.

Things are finally starting to get organized, thanks to Tigrin, Simbachu and Killress of the 'Mud.' Thanks guys! <3

The Green-Eyed Monster

Well, I figure I might as well start off my first day with a bang, so here is one of my art pieces that I am rather pleased with.
The character depicted is my main fursona, Vilra, (for those of you who don't frequent art sites, a fursona is an animal you use to represent yourself.) Usually she has brown fur and such, but the color green was better in this situation for obvious reasons I think.

This was one of the first pieces where I heavily implemented the more "painty" style of digital coloring, but more followed and I'm certain they will continue to do so.

Howdy

Hello all, this is the first of hopefully many many posts that I will be making here.

My goal is to make this a place to display my art....but that's about as far as I've thought ahead, so we'll see how it goes.
